Pardew's opposite number Robson reserved special praise for the performance of Junichi Inamoto, who was steady in midfield for the visitors.
The Japan international has not always found life easy in the Premiership, but Robson believes the 26-year-old is beginning to adapt to the rigours of the English game.
Robson said: "I'm very happy with way Junichi is playing. His all-round game is very good at the moment, and I thought he did well at West Ham.
